(DBA) - Oracle DBA
We are looking for Sr. level Database Administrators
(DBAs) with expertise managing, maintaining, and
administering Oracle Relational Databases. Key
responsibilities of the job include (but are not
limited to):

Perform Oracle logical and physical data
modeling |
|
Installs and administers Oracle database
on a variety of platforms |
|
Designs, develops and implements database-related
components |
|
Conducts systematic performance tuning (i.e.,
database server performance tuning, database-related
component tuning, and product-specific database
request tuning) |

Provides technical assistance and guidance
to software development staff on database
related issues |
|
Works with prospective or existing customers
to understand requirements and help customize

The successful candidate will possess the following
skills and qualifications:

5 or more years of Oracle DBA experience
REQUIRED (Oracle certification a plus) |

Full cycle software development experience |

Experience with high availability databases |

Experience with RAC, database replication,
and other distributed system |
|
Solid skills in stored procedures, functions
and triggers, performance tuning, partitioning,
tabling, and indexing |

Experience working in a Unix OS environment |

Experience writing Unix Shell Scripts |
|
Data warehousing experience a plus |
