Sr. Network Engineer - IP Cisco

We are looking for Senior Data Network Engineers responsible for network engineering, including technology analysis, impact assessments, network standards, design and installation of network equipment and infrastructure, and isolation and correction of network outages and performance problems. The successful candidate with have a strong LAN/WAN background in operations and engineering working with a IP and Cisco related technologies.

Our Sr. Network Engineers must have 7+ years overall network engineering experience. We seek the following specific technological expertise:

Cisco router experience with a strong understanding of software and configurations,
OSI Layer 2 & 3 working knowledge and experience
Strong IP background with routing experience in OSPF, BGP, RIP, RIPv2,...
Solid LAN/WAN background and experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid LAN/WAN background and experience

LAN Administrator

We are looking for LAN Administrators who will be required to support 24X7 LAN and associated applications. Then Administrators will troubleshoot and upgrade existing operational environment consisting of workstations running on Windows NT4.0, XP, associated file and print servers running Windows 2000, Novell 4.x and 5.x and Enterprise Messaging software consisting of ccMail and Lotus Notes mailhubs and gateways. Current networking infrastructure consists of Cisco routers, DSU/CSUs, bridges, switches, gateways and protocol converters. Peripheral devices consist of PDAs, Blackberry hand-held devices, and printers. Disaster Recovery software utilizes Veritas Backup Exec. Travel is required.

Our LAN Administrators must have 5+ years overall LAN experience. We seek the following technological expertise:

Solid LAN background and experience
Experience with Enterprise Messaging software (ccMail, Lotus Notes)
Experience supporting and administering Windows NT 4.0, Win2K, XP Operating Systems
Strong network diagnostics and troubleshooting hardware and software issues to completion
Experience with Tivoli and Peregrine Service Center required.


Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle, Work Breakdown Schedules and related documentation preferred
Excellent communication skills


Successful candidates will be subject to a background investigation conducted by the customer. Employment is contingent on successful completing and maintaining a security clearance
